WNC-CBD Review

WNC is one of the larger and higher volume hemp companies on the market. I’ve ordered multiple times from WNC-CBD and this is my review.

One of my favorite WNC purchases was this living soil Free Mac 1.

WNC was introduced to me in the forums as an alternative to Arete, who I had first began ordering from the previous six months. WNC stands for Western North Carolina, so that is really close to me here in Georgia.

I figured these guys were worth a try to order, nice and safe.

My First WNC-CBD Order

People were saying that the living soil flower with terpene % above 3% was fire. I wanted to try it and they had some nice looking strains in stock.

I had actually ordered some gummies there before for my wife, but for the flower, my first order came was a half oz of a sativa dominant strain called Free MAC1. I also was about to head to the casino in Cherokee for some poker so I also added a pack of pre-rolls called Dog Walkers.

I placed the order on the 11th of January and it shipped the following day. It was in my hands a couple of days later.

WNC’s Reputation

I like to think of WNC in a similar light as Arete. Large supplier, good company, quality but average products.

They are legit and you are going to get what you order, in a timely fashion. It is going to weigh out properly and be properly packaged and delivered. If you have a problem then customer support will work with you to find a resolution.

It feels like there is a higher than average level of quality control when ordering from WNC, meaning that you are going to get clean, quality weed when you order.

Most reports from the field are ‘hits’ but there are a few misses. There are users out there not loving the effects or complaining of a muted smell and taste.

For me, the Free Mac1 smalls were absolutely fire. I loved them and ordered more.

The pre-rolls on the other hand will not be getting ordered again. I don’t know if it was the strain (Durban Poison) or the batch but the effects on the pre-rolls were minimal.

One hit, one miss.

Flower

WNC has living soil strains as their top end flower as well as indoor hydro.

It’s interesting but you can only get half oz’s in smalls.

The rest of their flower is in 28g, 7g or 3.5g lots. If you want a half oz, you’ll have to go with smalls.

Pre Rolls

You can get singles or 5 packs. They are 1gram each with multiple strain options.

You can also get ‘dog walkers’ prerolls which are .3g each and perfect for a quick stroll with fido. I love the dog-walker size of only .3g for the preroll. It’s just more than enough to get really high if you are smoking some good weed.

Unfortunately I didn’t jive with the Durban Poison dog-walker pre-rolls I tried. Hardly any effect and only smoked moderately decent.

Concentrates

Diamonds and batter and crumble oh my!

Hash rosin and tinctures along with diamond sauce, bubble hash diamond sauce and a wide variety of concentrates.

There are a 10+ strains of rosin and more of crumble and sauces. If you want to try different concentrates they have a lot here. I have not personally tried any of the concentrates from WNC.
