Donny Burger

I splurged on some exotic, high end, top of the line bud called Donny Burger from LuckyElk. This stuff is not on the cheap side at $40 an eighth, but man oh man does it deliver.

If you are looking for a powerful indica to hit you behind the eyes and put you in couchlock then I hope you like the taste of a juicy expertly cooked hamburger with all the grilled onions and garlic and pepper mixed in the beefy goodness because smoking this is like taking a big ole bite of the juiciest cheeseburger you ever did have.

The Flower

The buds themselves were on the medium to small size, at least in the 3.5g that I received as you can see in the photo’s.

They are nicely manicured, tightly and densely packed buds. The colors range from a purple to a bright pine green and then to a bright lime almost neon color mixed with red hairs.

The cure is on point. It is high quality flower.

Smell – Onions, Garlic and Hamburger

It’s really something else that I have not had that much of in the past.

Most of my previous weed purchases always smelled mostly like old school weed. Pine and christmas tree like, which I do love.

This strain from Lucky Elk though, this guy hits like a damn Cheeseburger Bobbys cheeseburgers with grilled onions, garlic and peppers.

It is not overwhelming in smell potency but there is plenty of smells going around.

The Taste

I love the garlicky, peppery and oniony terps. I first tried out the Donny Burger high THCa flower ground up in my Santa Cruz shredder and then put in my Dynavap because I really want to bring out the flavor. For that reason sure but I had also just dropped and broke my glass bowl that sits on my mini grav bubbler. So, Dynavap to the rescue.

Plus vaping really brings out the flavor and this strain is loaded with it. I heated it with my induction heater the YLLLVAPE and boom, it was like I took a bite of a cheeseburger loaded with sauteed onions and garlic.

The Effects – Powerful Indica

This one hits me square behind the eyes. I have to wait until the evening when I am ready to couch lock in and watch a movie. It feels good and relaxing and the old classic stoned feeling. Your body is heavy and you want some of moms spaghetti.

I def have to wait until the work day is over before I take another bite out of the ole Donny Burger THCa sandwich I have waiting for me.

I like to smoke good, eat good and drink good… and Donny Burger is helping me do that on the smoking side. At least at night. I can’t smoke this strain during the day unless I really just want to zoot out and binge watch movies or something like that (which is an extreme rarity).
