Chemtrails

A Sativa from Flow Gardens

It’s not very often that an emails copy sells me on trying a new flower, but the personal recommendation from someone named Erich (whom admittedly I do not know) got me to pull the trigger on buying a half oz of Chemtrails, a sativa strain. This is my review after the first time smoking it.

Chemtrails was sold as smelling like the 90’s, which is speaking my language. When I opened the bag and took a whiff, I agreed.

It’s got that chemically and gassy smell that old school kind bud had back in the day. I’m excited to give this one a smoke. Let’s get to it.

The Flower – Buds are Sticky

Green with classic red hairs. The trichomes are covering this bud head to toe. I have not yet looked at them under a loupe but you can see them on some of the zoomed in photos above.

Covered in trichomes. It ground up nicely, I’m going to look forward to trying it in a joint and see how it smokes.

Smell – Chemical + Gas

It has that chemically smell. I smell some sour and a tiny bit of sweet. It smells good, daddy likes.

Taste

It tastes like it smells. It’s good. I have not yet vaped it but will do so in my Dynavap and update if any particular tastes come through and what I think.

The Cure / The Toke

The cure is nice and it smokes smooth. No coughing unless I just hammer down on the bowl trying to take as huge as hits as possible (which I am not trying to do). Just regular tokes and no coughing.

I am NOT having any sneezing fits either, which is awesome. Sneezing fits have been a classic indicator of poorly cured weed for me and I am happy to report, no sneezing induced by the weed. I rate the cure very nice and high.

The Effects

I gotta say that the effects are on point for a sativa. I am sitting here writing this review and getting it done no problem, which is somewhat rare for me nowadays. I’ve had a few other orders come in that I have not yet taken the time to review. I guess these are a motivator.

It feels good, I feel like I can focus yet do have some fast moving thoughts sometimes going in multiple levels of thought at once, if that makes any sense. I do not like getting too high on sativas so I’m sticking to one small bowl at a time and I think that was a good choice. The mind can only go so fast and be an enjoyable ride.

Final Thoughts on Chemtrails

Chemtrails are real. So is this strain. Get it if you like sativas. I generally like to smoke a more hybrid bud but I think this one during the work day can help get the job done.

I think the recommendation from Erich was well received and I’m happy with my purchase. They are currently sold out of this batch. I guess the personalized email recommendation did the trick. I’m glad I was able to get some before they were gone.
